Middle School at Manarat International School of Kenya
The Middle School Programme at Manarat International School of Kenya is designed to develop independent, confident, and responsible learners with a strong academic and moral foundation. This stage plays a critical role in preparing students for the demands of upper secondary education and the IGCSE pathway.

British Curriculum–Aligned Academic Programme
The middle school curriculum offers comprehensive instruction in core subjects aligned with the British Curriculum, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities. Teaching and learning focus on subject depth, conceptual understanding, and the progressive development of academic skills required for international assessments.

Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
A strong emphasis is placed on the development of critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Through discussions, research tasks, collaborative projects, and inquiry-based learning, students are encouraged to think independently, evaluate information, and apply knowledge in real-world contexts.

Advanced Islamic Studies and Moral Development
The programme includes enhanced Islamic Studies, incorporating Tafsir, Fiqh, and deeper understanding of Islamic principles. Students are guided to connect their learning to everyday life, strengthening moral awareness, ethical decision-making, and personal responsibility.

Technology, Arts, and Language Exposure
Middle school learners are provided with structured exposure to educational technology, creative arts, and additional languages, supporting digital literacy, creativity, and global awareness. These learning experiences equip students with essential skills for the modern world and future academic success.

Co-Curricular and Extracurricular Activities
Manarat International School of Kenya values the importance of extracurricular activities in supporting personal interests and talents. Sports, clubs, and creative activities encourage teamwork, leadership, physical well-being, and self-confidence, contributing to the holistic development of each learner.

Preparing Learners for Future Success
Through a balanced approach that integrates academics, Islamic values, personal development, and co-curricular engagement, the middle school programme prepares students to transition confidently into upper secondary education and become responsible global citizens.
